Looking Ahead, Together
January 16, 2025
Dear Community,
As we enter 2025, I want to take a moment to reflect on the challenges, growth, and resilience that defined last year for Rocky Mountain Human Services (RMHS). It has been a time of great transition with many obstacles that we have faced alongside you, our community. Together, we have navigated complex changes such as Case Management Redesign, a new data system set forth by the state, and resuming pre-pandemic activities.
Though these unforeseen challenges left many to cope with unresolved issues and increased stress, RMHS remained steadfast in our commitment to meet people where they are. We prioritized the human needs behind prescribed processes, stepping in to fill gaps whenever possible. By listening attentively, answering questions, and minimizing the disruption caused by these changes, we stayed focused on lessening the burden for individuals and families. This holistic approach guided every decision, ensuring we delivered care, support, and resources tailored to each person’s unique needs and circumstances. We have learned to evolve in the face of uncertainty—all while keeping our focus firmly on our community and the people we serve.
Looking ahead to 2025, we know the road will not always be easy. We face continued uncertainty around funding and shifting government policies, but we remain focused on the people we serve and the values we hold dear. While we cannot control the decisions made other entities, we can continue to advocate for you and make sure your voices are heard. We promise to always be transparent and do the best we can with the resources available, while remembering that the true value of our work is in the people we serve and the impact we make together.
In this coming year, we will continue to honor the importance of community and the critical factors that contribute to overall well-being. We understand that health is not just about medical care—it’s about housing, transportation, education, and access to basic needs. We are committed to identifying gaps in these areas and developing creative solutions to address them, even when traditional systems fall short.
As always, RMHS remains driven by our mission and we are here for those who need us, especially as the challenges ahead remain complex and uncertain. We strive to make your lives better, easier, and more fulfilling through intentional care and innovative solutions.
Thank you for your ongoing support, partnership, and trust. We look forward to what we can accomplish together in 2025.
Sincerely,
Shari Repinski
